Zamfara killings: Police arrest 3 principal suspects

The Police have arrested three principal suspects that perpetuated the February 14 killings in Zamfara State.

Force Public Relations Officer, CSP Jimoh Moshood confirmed the development in a press statement made available to newsmen in Abuja Sunday night.

The suspects’ names were given as 45-year-old Halilu Garba, also known as Masashi; 45-year-old Zubairu Malafa, aka Wakili; and 40-year-old Nafi’u Bahamas, alias Zakiru.

Meanwhile, the suspects are currently in police custody assisting the police in full scale investigation of the heinous crime.

The Inspector General of Police, Ibrahim Idris, after being informed of the development, was said to have directed that the suspected bandits be immediately moved to the Force Headquarters, Abuja.
