Barcelona have qualified for the Copa del Rey final, after beating Valencia 2-0 on Thursday night, in the second leg of their semi-final fixture.

The holders had also won the first leg 1-0 at the Camp Nou.

Record signing Philippe Coutinho came off the bench to score his first goal for Barcelona, as they progressed 3-0 on aggregate.

Coutinho was brought off the bench at half-time for his fifth appearance, since his £14 million switch from Liverpool last month and scored four minutes after the restart.

The Brazilian converted Luis Suarez’s cross to put the holders in the driving seat.

Ivan Rakitic added the second in the 82nd minute to book a showdown against Sevilla in the final.

It will be Barcelona’s fifth consecutive Copa del Rey final.
