Former Jamaican sprinter, and 100-metre world record holder, Usain Bolt, has taken part in his first proper training session with Borussia Dortmund’s first team on Friday.

Bolt, who is on a two-day tryout with the German club, scored a header and a penalty during the training session as he continues to chase his dream of being a professional soccer player.

The eight-time Olympic champion retired as a sprinter earlier in 2017 after the World Championships.

The 31-year-old has always spoken of his desire to play football once his sprinting career was over, and had been recently linked to Manchester United and Borussia Dortmond.

Earlier this month, Bolt announced he will captain a World XI at Old Trafford in a UNICEF charity game in June 2018.
