A man yet to be identified on Saturday jumped into the Lagos lagoon.
The man who had boarded an Uber taxi from Gbagada told the driver to stop on Third Mainland Bridge.
He reportedly said he had a stomach ache and needed to alight.
Lagos State Emergency Management Authority (LASEMA) spokesman, Nosa Okunbor, said rescue efforts has commenced.
He confirmed that the man claimed he had stomach upset and needed to relieve himself.
“So when the driver parked, he got down from the vehicle, abandoned his belongings and jumped into the water.
“The incident happened around 11am and our team has responded. I can’t confirm if he would be rescued alive or dead”, Okunbor added
