Transfer: Real Madrid goalkeeper, Courtois, advises Hazard to move to Madrid

Real Madrid goalkeeper, Thibaut Courtois, has urged Chelsea star player, Eden Hazard to make a transfer move to the Santiago Bernabeu this summer.

Courtois, a former teammate with Hazard during his time at Stamford Bridge, left Chelsea last summer to join the Champions League holders in a deal that saw midfielder, Mateo Kovacic, to join the Blues on loan.

Hazard, who has long been linked with a move to join Real Madrid, is yet to sign a new contract at Chelsea.

His current deal at the West London club will expire in 2020 but Courtois wants to see his Belgium international teammate become a club colleague again.

“I don’t know if Hazard is going to sign for Real Madrid, nor do I know if the club wants him,” Courtois told Onda Cero on Wednesday.

“For me, he is a great player, but I don’t decide those things.

“Each one decides what he does with his life. For me, he is one of the best in the world and as a friend, I would like him to be here.”
