Shehu Sani, senator representing Kaduna Central, has reacted to the recent protest by some Nigerian soldiers at the Maiduguri airport.

Recall that soldiers of the Special Strike Forces deployed to Operation Lafiya Dole on Sunday protested against their posting to Marte, a Local Government Area in Northern Borno State.

Sani, in a tweet on his official Twitter page @ShehuSani on Tuesday, said such incidents were avoidable.

He, however, called for support for the troops who offered to risk and sacrifice their lives for the country.

“Troops revolt as recently experienced and reported from Maiduguri are avoidable. We must adequately support and provide for those who offered to risk and sacrificed their lives to keep ours.

“Nothing is much for those holding down and putting down the monstrous insurgence,” the lawmaker stated.
