Russian plane makes emergency landing in Moscow after fire on board | World News

Five people have been injured after a fire on board a Russian passenger plane, forcing it to make an emergency landing in Moscow.

Russian state TV showed footage of the Aeroflot Sukhoi Superjet aircraft with black smoke rising above its tail after it landed at Sheremetyevo International Airport in the north of the capital.

Video posted on social media showed much of the plane engulfed by flame as it sped down the runway, but officials have told Russian news agency Interfax that all 78 passengers were evacuated.
