Reps summon AGF Malami to explain Saraki’s trial at CCT

The House of Representatives has summoned the Attorney-General of the Federation, AGF, Abubakar Malami over the Code of Conduct Tribunal case involving the Senate President, Bukola Saraki and the Federal Government.

The Green Chambers, through a motion raised by the Minority Whip, Rep Yakubu Barde, PDP, Kaduna, entitled, “Need to Ensure Sanity in the Legal Administration of Justice System in The Fight Against Corruption in Nigeria By the AGF’ was overwhelmingly carried by the kawmakers.

Barde, while leading the debate observed that, “the AGF is instrumental to this unwholesome saga playing out in our administration of justice system.”
