Premier League: Why Arsenal vs Man City might be called off

[ad_1]

Thursday’s Premier League clash between Arsenal and Manchester City, could be postponed as the ‘Beast from the East’ has hit the Emirates Stadium.

The continuous snow has caused chaos, with schools closing and commuters affected due to the poor weather conditions.

City are taking the risk of travelling to London on Thursday, rather than staying overnight. Pep Guardiola’s men will take the train on Thursday morning, but heavy snow could affect their route.

The Premier League are likely to make a call on the fixture on Thursday morning and the conditions around the Emirates Stadium will also come into play.

If the surrounding areas of the ground are deemed to be dangerous, then the league may decide to call the fixture off.

Both sides met in the Carabao Cup final last Sunday, with City winning 3-0 at Wembley.
