Premier League: Conte speaks on Courtois’ future at Chelsea

Chelsea manager, Antonio Conte has admitted that the club has an issue regarding Thibaut Courtois’s future.

Courtois has repeatedly been linked with a move away from the club, with PSG. He had also refused to sign contract extension.

The Belgian international who only has next season left on his current deal, is also reportedly interested in a potential switch to the Ligue 1 outfit.

Conte told reporters, “My answer is always the same,’ said Conte in response to the speculation. “We are talking about a really good goalkeeper.

“This is a problem to solve between the club and Thibaut.”

Courtois has played 40 times this season for the reigning Premier League champions, but his only chance of picking up a medal now during this campaign is in the FA Cup.

The Blues face Southampton in the FA Cup semi-final on April 22, but before then they face the Saints on April 14 in the Premier League.
