Police grills Babangida’s spokesman, Afegbua over statement on Buhari

Spokesman of former Military President, Ibrahim Babangida, Kassim Afegbua has arrived Police headquartered in Abuja.

He is still being interrogated as at the time of filing this report.

Afegbua had been declared wanted over a letter he issued on President Buhari on behalf on Babangida.

Police spokesman, Jimoh Moshood, had accused Afeguba of “making false statement, injurious falsehood, defamation of character and for act capable of inciting public disturbance throughout the country”.

The media consultant arrived the premises in company of his lawyer, Kayode Ajulo and some family members.
His lawyers yesterday instituted a N1bn suit against the Police, Channels Television and NTA over the declaration.
