PDP crisis: Secondus’ suspension as National Chairman is a meltdown – Fani-Kayode

Former Aviation Minister, Femi Fani-Kayode, has reacted to the court ruling restraining Uche Secondus from parading himself as the National Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP.

The Rivers State High Court had restrained Secondus from exercising the functions of the National Chairman of the PDP.

The order was given by Justice O. Gbasam on Monday.

The judge who gave the order, also approved the suspension of Secondus as a member of the party pending the hearing and determination of motion on notice for interlocutory injunction.

Reacting, Fani-Kayode said the ruling won’t solve PDP’s leadership crisis.

In a tweet, the PDP chieftain said the crisis looks like a meltdown.

He wrote: “Secondus restrained from being National Chairman of @OfficialPDPNig by court order?

“Even if the order is lifted in a few days the leadership crisis in the party just does not seem to want to go away.

“For how much longer can the centre hold?

“Looks like a meltdown to me!”
