Oyo govt marks Yinka Ayefele’s Fresh FM for demolition [See Detail]

The Oyo State Government has marked part of the building housing Fresh FM Ibadan, a private radio station owned by popular Juju musician, Mr. Yinka Ayefele, for demolition, DAILY POST reports.

The building, christened “Music House”, was marked for demolition because some part of it were not approved.

The demolition notice, DAILY POST gathered on Wednesday, was pasted on the structure located along Ibadan-Lagos expressway on the order of the Oyo State Government.

The notice, according to David Ajiboye, its Director of Corporate Affairs and Promotions, gave the owner of the building three days to vacate the building and remove the structure or risk its removal by the government.

The deadline, it was learnt expires today, Wednesday, 15th August, 2018.

Ajiboye, who confirmed the development on his Facebook page on Tuesday, added that the demolition notice was issued because, “The staff canteen in the premises was not approved”.

The post read further, “The spiral staircase was not in the approved plan. The mast was not in the approved plan.

“The fence was not in the approved plan.

“And therefore the entire N800 million edifice where almost 150 people make their daily bread have to go down. You are all invited to the demolition show at the Music House tomorrow”.
