Adefisoye who stated that Omisore was the most qualified of the contestants emphasized that his pedigree and experience as a public officer will come to bear amongst the electorate.
“Omisore is the man to beat in the election, he is the most experienced candidate, he has all it takes to come out victorious in the exercise.”
The House of Representatives hopeful spoke on Friday while addressing the people of his constituency where he doled out scholarship to 17 students across Idanre/Ifedore federal constituency.
He, however, decried the lack of government presence in the two local government (Idanre and Ifedore) making up the federal constituency.
He berated those who have been opportuned to represent the people for not doing enough at influencing development in the area.
“Most of the roads leading to these communities are deplorable and an eyesore ( Jimgbe, Omi funfun Bajare, and Ala Goke) in Idanre LG Area of Ondo State, yet abandoned by the Government over the years, ignored by political sons and daughters of the land who are in government, chasing shadows instead of putting smiles on the faces of the poor by doing what they were duty-bound to do.
“Just like the saying, ‘a man who has never felt what the masses are feeling may never be able to directly make impacts in their lives’, for only those who have walked in the shoes of despair will understand the feelings of pain.
“So together, we can reclaim our land and build a constituency of our dreams, a constituency we will all be proud of.”
While vowing to change the narrative when given the mandate, Adefisoye explained that with an energetic mind, coupled with his commitment of a working society, adequate representation would be his utmost priority.
“I’ve been to these villages and my heart weeps for this Nation, Nigeria, my Soul is burdened by the suffering and plight of an average commuter on these roads, especially in Idanre and Ifedore of Ondo State.
“Without sounding immodest, I am someone who is energetic, compassionate, caring and desirous of a better future for his people. I visited my people even in trenches to know their challenges so as to proffer solutions to them. Respect is not commanded, it can only be earned,” he added.
