Oni greets Adebayo as he turns 60

Former Ekiti State Governor and Deputy National Chairman (South) of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Chief Segun Oni has congratulated the pioneer democratically elected governor of the state, Otunba Adeniyi Adebayo as he turns 60.

Oni, in a statement signed by his media aide, Mr. Steve Alabi in Ado-Ekiti on Saturday described Otunba Adeniyi Adebayo as a patriotic and humble leader, whose pioneering legacies laid the foundation for the development being witnessed today.

The APC Deputy National Chairman, South said that Adebayo, during his period as the state governor proved his love for the state and Nigeria, as a whole.

He said, “On behalf of the APC in the entire South and Ekiti in particular, myself and my family congratulate the pioneer governor of our dear state, the Fountain of Knowledge and Land of Honour, Otunba Adeniyi Adebayo on his 60th birthday.

“I join well wishers in celebrating a statesman whose life and politics have been defined by patriotism and humility.

“I want to urge our political leader to remain steadfast to the positive ideals he stands for and continue to support the development of the state and country at large.

“I wish him many more happy, healthy and rewarding years of service to the state and the nation”.
