Ohaneze Ndigbo reveals its major concern with Nigeria

Apex Igbo socio-political organization, Ohaneze Ndi-igbo has said that its major concern is how Nigeria will be restructured in order for the bountiful talents of Ndigbo and other Nigerians to be fully realized.

This was contend in a statement on Thursday by the National Deputy Publicity Secretary of Ohaneze, Chuks Ibegbu.

Ibegbu said the group has not really taken any concrete decisions as regards the 2019 general elections, but will consult widely with prominent Igbo stakeholders.

He said, “Our main concern now is the Restructuring of Nigeria in sync with other progressive groups and individuals in Nigeria.

“Once Nigeria is restructured, other things will fall in place.

“We want a level playing ground for all sections of Nigeria. We want justice, equity and fairplay. We want a Nigeria in which the bountiful talents of Ndigbo and other Nigerians will be fully realized.”

According to him, Nigeria as it presently constituted kills initiative, while assuring Ndigbo that he and his EXCO are committed to protect the interest of Ndigbo at all times.
