Nigeria returns to the Africa Cup of Nations, after missing out on the last two editions of the continental showpiece.
The Super Eagles will be looking to start with a win over Burundi, who are making their debut at the tournament, especially as their next fixture, is a trickier match against Guinea, before they face another competition debutant in Madagascar.
Experienced coach, Gernot Rohr, who has managed four African sides over the last nine years, has assembled a talented group that looks capable of challenging the likes of Senegal, Ivory Coast, Ghana and host Egypt.
The game will kick off at 6pm West African time.
SuperSport 3 & 7 will beam the encounter live from the Alexandria Stadium, Egypt.
