Ben Murray-Bruce, the senator representing Bayelsa East constituency, on Saturday said Senator Shehu Sani is innocent of murder allegations levelled against him.
DAILY POST recalls that Austin Iwar, the police commissioner in Kaduna State had written to the senator asking him to appear on April 30 at the Command Headquarters in Kaduna for questioning over murder case.
Reacting, Shehu Sani had accused his political opponents of plan to frame him up, just like they did Senator Dino Melaye.
Similarly, Ben Bruce while reacting to the development on his Twitter page, declared that Shehu Sani was innocent of the murder case allegations.
The Bayelsa lawmaker wrote “First @dino_melaye then @ShehuSani. Who is next? If I say I am not Dino, so I will keep quiet, or I am not Shehu so I should hold my peace.
“Who will speak out when they come for me? Who will speak up when they come for you? There may be none left to speak then. Shehu is innocent!”
