Manchester United vs Liverpool: Why Pogba might not play

[ad_1]

Manchester United could be without Paul Pogba when they welcome Liverpool in the Premier League on Saturday.

Pogba pulled out of training on Friday and will undergo a late fitness test early on Saturday, which will determine whether he will play.

It would be a huge blow for United, who will be seeking to hold off their fierce rivals in the race for second spot behind runaway leaders Manchester City.

Jose Mourinho’s side currently sit two points clear of the Reds going into the weekend’s clash at Old Trafford.

Pogba has made 26 appearances in all competitions so far this season, scoring three goals.

He wasn’t pictured as the rest of the squad checked into the Lowry Hotel prior to the match, accompanied by legendary former boss Sir Alex Ferguson.
