LaLiga: Vinicius breaks Messi’s record as Real Madrid go top after El Clasico

Real Madrid winger, Vinicius Jr, has now become the youngest player to score in an El Clasico fixture.

Vinicius opened scoring for Los Blancos on Sunday, as they beat Barca 2-0 at the Santiago Bernabeu.

The Brazilian broke into the box and bundled home a shot via a deflection from Gerard Pique.

In doing so, Vinicius became the youngest person to score a goal in Spain’s most famous fixture, replacing Lionel Messi who bagged a hat-trick in 2007.

Vinicius was just 19 years and 233 days in Sunday’s game.

Messi was 19 years and 259 days old when he set his record.
