LaLiga: Date for Barcelona vs Real Madrid El Clasico at Camp Nou announced

[ad_1]

Real Madrid will play Barcelona at Camp Nou on Sunday, May 6.

This was confirmed by LaLiga president, Javier Tebas, while speaking on radio show, El Larguero.

Barca currently hold a seven-point lead over second-place Atletico Madrid and are 14 points clear over Real Madrid.

Tebas says the El Clasico, which falls in Week 36 of the campaign, “will be on Sunday at a quarter to nine,” although the time and date has not yet been officially confirmed.

In the reverse fixture at the Santiago Bernabeu, Barca won 3-0 and the Catalans will probably have wrapped up the title by the time they face Zinedine Zidane’s team again.

Should Barca be already confirmed as La Liga champions by May 6, debate is certain over whether Madrid should form a “pasillo” guard of honour as their opponents take to the pitch.
