In Abuja, Governor Yahaya Bello presented Kogi State’s APC governorship candidate, Usman Ododo, to President Muhammadu Buhari. Ododo received the President’s blessings for the November election.
Ododo expressed his commitment to continue Governor Bello’s developmental strides through inclusive governance. He believes that his experience in both private and public financial sectors, along with the opportunity to learn from Governor Bello, will equip him to lead Kogi State effectively.
As the APC gears up for the election, the party is confident in its unity and ability to secure a landslide victory. Governor Bello emphasized the party’s unity in Kogi State and reiterated the commitment to continue infrastructure renewal, which his administration has focused on for over seven years.
President Buhari gave his unalloyed blessings to the APC candidate, advising the party in Kogi State to embark on issue-based election campaigns. This strategy aims to ensure the party retains the state in the coming elections.
