Omokri urged the wife of the President, Aisha Buhari to give her husband anti-depressant and “send him back to Daura”.
Buhari while hosting leaders of the Church of Christ in Nations, COCIN, at the Presidential Villa, Abuja, yesterday, had lamented that he was distressed and depressed by the atrocious ethno-religious killings across the country.
However, Omokri wondered why a President with the Department of State Services, DSS, the Military and the police at his disposal with make such remark.
In a tweet, Omokri wrote: “President @MBuhari says ‘I’m depressed by killings in Nigeria’. Was he elected to be depressed about killings, or to stop them.
“How can a man in charge of the military, police and DSS be ‘depressed’ about killings? @AishamBuhari, get him an anti depressant and send him #BackToDaura.”
