The Ward Executive of the opposition Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Nassarawa 1 ward, Birnin Kebbi, Kebbi State, has suspended the former Minister for Special Duties, Kabiru Tanimu Turaki, and former Minister for Water Resources, Alhaji Buhari Bala, for misconduct and anti-party activities.
Ward Chairman Alhaji Ibrahim Abdullahi Namazaba explained that Tanimu, General Sarkin Yaki Bello, one-time gubernatorial candidate Haruna Said Dan Di O, embattled Kebbi Central hopeful, and five others failed to provide a defense within the 48-hour period given to them, proving that the allegations of anti-party activities against them were true. Their inability to respond to the query led to their suspension.
Likewise, Alhaji Buhari Bala was suspended by Dangaladima Ward Chairman Alhaji Umaru Dattiya for anti-party activities and supporting the APC gubernatorial candidate during the state’s gubernatorial polls. Dattiya stated that the suspension takes effect immediately.
