Kaduna: Buhari discloses what he has done about killings in Birnin Gwari

President Muhammadu Buhari on Monday condemned the killings that took place in Birnin Gwari over the weekend.

DAILY POST reports that 27 persons were during the weekend reportedly killed and several houses set ablaze after suspected bandits attacked the community.

This was confirmed by the President’s Personal Assistant on New Media, Engagement Unit, Bashir Ahmad.

A tweet from the presidential aide reads, “The killings in Birnin Gwari are regrettable. To bring an end to the bloodletting, and ensure that the criminals behind it are brought to justice, President @MBuhari has approved a new military battalion, a new Police Area Command, and two additional Div Police HQs, for the area”.
