Gunmen kill 5, injure 3 in Plateau

Gunmen suspected to be Fulani herdsmen have killed five people and injured three others at Inding Village in Barkin Ladi Local Government Area of Plateau.

The Public Relations Officer of the Plateau State Command, ASP. Terna Tyopev, who confirmed the incident to the the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) in Jos said that the gunmen carried out the killing on April 8.

Tyopev said, “Gunmen suspected to be Fulani herdsmen attacked and killed five people, injuring three others at Inding Village in the Barkin Ladi Local Government Area.

“The attackers struck the village on Sunday at about 8 p.m.,’’ he said, noting that investigation had commenced to unravel those behind the killing.”
