Governor Badaru seeks support to revive education sector


The Jigawa state governor, Alhaji Muhammad Badaru Abubakar has sought for intervention from corporate organizations, Banks and wealthy individuals to support government effort in providing quality education to the people of the state.

Governor Badaru made this statement at the commissioning and handing over of zenith CRS projects in jigawa state held at kiyawa local government.

He said Government alone can not solve all the problems of education without contributions from individuals and cooperates organizations.

The Governor explained that Jigawa state government under his administration had spent over 3billion Naira for the payments of students’ scholarship within and outside the country.

He added that government had also spent over 4billion Naira to feed students at boarding schools across the state.
