Fulani herdsmen strike again, kill four in Taraba

Unknown gunmen suspected to be Fulani herdsmen have attacked and killed four persons in Ngutsen village of Wurojam ward in Gasol local government area of Taraba state.

This is coming barely seven hours after governor Darius Ishaku cried out that the state was going be attacked in ten days.

Vanguard reports that the attackers arrived the village at about 9 pm on Thursday.

Wurojam is about 20 kilometers away from Jibu village where the senior special assistant on media and publicity to governor Darius Ishaku, Bala Danhabu recently alleged that a Helicopter landed with arms.

The newspaper reports that Gosol local government chairman was already at the scene of the incident with the Divisional Police Officer DPO of the local government to maintain calm.
