Femi Fani-Kayode, former Aviation Minister, on Monday reacted to report of Fulani herdsmen removing the eyes, ears and nose of a police officer in Benue State.

The former Minister claimed that the action of the suspected herdsmen was President Muhammadu Buhari’s legacy.

In a tweet, the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, chieftain said the “cruelty and barbarity of these beasts is beyound what words can describe.”

Fani-Kayode wrote: “Fulani terrorists in Benue state removed the eyes, ears and nose of a police officer before slaughtering him. The cruelty and barbarity of these beasts is beyond what words can describe.

“This is the legacy of Buhari and all those that supported and assisted him to come to power.”

The Benue State Police Command had earlier announced the murder of one of its officers recently kidnapped by suspected Fulani herdsmen in the state.

DAILY POST reports that four police men were last week kidnapped and a security van burnt down after suspected Fulani herdsmen ambushed security men in Logo LGA of the state.
