Fayose’s aide blasts Buhari for attending Ganduje, Ajimobi children’s wedding

Governor Ayo Fayose’s Special Assistant on Public Communications and New Media, Lere Olayinka, has lambasted President Muhammadu Buhari for making today’s trip to Kano.

Buhari touched down the city around noon on Saturday.

Recall that Govenor Umar Ganduje last year agreed to the marriage proposal from Idris Ajimobi, the son of Governor Abiola Ajimobi of Oyo state, for his daughter Fatima Umar Ganduje.

Fayose’s aide, however, lamented that the nation’s leader was yet to visit hot spots in the country.

Olayinka expressed sadness that despite killings in Benue and other states and the recent abduction of Dapchi girls, Buhari ignored those places for a wedding.

“President Buhari is in Kano for the wedding of Fatima Ganduje, daughter of Kano State Governor, Dr Abdullahi Umar Ganduje and Idris Ajimobi, son of Oyo State Governor, Abiola Ajimobi.

“The same President Buhari that refused to visit Dapchi in Yobe State where 110 school girls were abducted by Boko Haram.

“He didn’t visit Benue State where 73 Nigerians killed by Fulani herdsmen were buried in one day”, he said on his twitter handle.
