The governor of Ekiti State, Ayodele Fayose, has spoken on the possibility of the President Muhammadu Buhari-led administration unleashing the Economic and Financial Crime Commission, EFCC,
on him
when he leaves office later this year.

Fayose in a statement by his Chief Press Secretary, CPS, idowu Adelusi, said he is not scared.

”EFCC are not the court and mostly they don’t win their cases.

”EFCC and I were in court for eight years and I defeated them. I am not afraid of them.

“Everything they do, I take them to court.

“It is the EFCC that doesn’t obey the law and that is why we have all these challenges.

“They have taken everything they personal to bring people down. That is not fighting corruption.

”They should not be in an hurry. They should take their time
”, he noted.
