Europa League: Arsenal hold off CSKA Moscow, Atletico qualify for semi-finals

Arsenal are through to the last four of the Europa League, after they held CSKA Moscow to a 2-2 draw on Thursday night.

The Gunners went into the second leg of their quarter-final clash with a comfortable 4-1 lead.

However, they failed to extend their advantage early on in Russia, as the hosts took a two-goal lead.

Fedor Chalov and Kirill Nababkin both finished calmly from rebounds to send their fans into raptures.

However, Danny Welbeck changed the complexion of the tie with a brilliant finish 15 minutes from time, before Aaron Ramsey equalized with the last kick of the game.

Atletico Madrid have also qualified, despite losing 1-0 at Sporting CP. The LaLiga side won 2-0 last week.
