EPL: What Alex Iwobi said about Arsene Wenger’s resignation

Nigerian forward, Alex Iwobi has reacted to Arsene Wenger’s decision to leave Arsenal at the end of the season.

The Super Eagles forward praised Wenger for the role he played in shaping his career at Arsenal.

The Frenchman made decision to leave the club known through a press statement on Friday morning.

Iwobi is one of the youngsters the 68-year-old gaffer has mentored at the club, graduating from the club’s academy to the first team

Iwobi wrote on twitter, “For everything you’ve done for Arsenal football club; for trusting me as a teenager; for Giving me the opportunity to express myself and grow both as a footballer and as a person; I will forever be grateful to you boss.

“Thank you so much!”
