EPL: Solskjaer speaks on choosing between Rashford, Lukaku

Manchester United interim manager, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, has expressed his delight at seeing his main striking options getting on the scoresheet and suggested he may start fielding both Romelu Lukaku and Marcus Rashford in the same starting line-up.

Rashford has been in superb form since Solskjaer’s return to Old Trafford and has started ahead of the Belgium international, in each of the caretaker boss’ first four games in charge.

Lukaku has returned to the bench after time away from the sport due to personal reasons, but has netted two goals, when brought onto the pitch by the Norweigian.

But after the 2-0 win over Newcastle on Wednesday night, Solskjaer hinted at playing them both alongside each other up front.

“You can play with two of them – no problem.

“One can play on the right; we can play two through the middle. It gives me options,” he told Sky Sports.
