EPL: Pulisic reveals why he signed for Chelsea

Christian Pulisic has admitted he could not turn down the opportunity of playing in the Premier League, after his move to Chelsea was confirmed.

The Blues have confirmed that they have reached an agreement to sign the 20-year-old from Borussia Dortmund.

Pulisic will stay with Dortmund for the remainder of the 2018/2019 campaign, before joining up with Chelsea in the summer.

It’s understood the Blues have agreed to pay around €64million (£57.5m) for the United States international.

On his move to Stamford Bridge, Pulisic told Chelsea’s official website: “In the summer I move on to Chelsea and to a new competition, the English Premier League.

“It’s a privilege to have signed for such a legendary club and I look forward to working hard towards being a contributor to their team of world class players.”
