Manchester United midfielder, Paul Pogba has revealed what team mate, Alexis Sanchez told him before he scored his second goal against Manchester City in the Premier League at the weekend.

Pogba, who had a disappointing opening 45 minutes, was in inspired form after the break as he converted Ander Herrera’s chested pass to pull one goal back for the Red Devils.

The 25-year-old then brought the sides level in dramatic fashion with a well-controlled header assisted by Alexis Sanchez before defender, Chris Smalling completed United’s incredible 3-2 win in the 69th minute.

Pogba told Sky Sports: “He [Sanchez] said I see you all the time, just make the run and I will find you.

“I know when he [Sanchez] has the ball he likes to play, I saw the space and I just went. Luckily I was there.”

He added, “I know they like to attack so we had to get forward.

“We lifted because we were 2-0 down – one goal and obviously your confidence goes up.”
