EPL: Klopp compares Salah with Messi

[ad_1]

Liverpool manager, Jurgen Klopp, has spoken about the similarities between his player, Mohamed Salah and Barcelona superstar, Lionel Messi.

Salah needs one more goal with his left foot in the Premier League this season, to match a record set by Robbie Fowler way back in 1994/1995 when he scored 20 in the league with his left peg.

That would place Salah alongside the most famous left-footed player in modern history – Messi.

“Is Mo the best in the business? All over the word? Lionel Messi is left footed isn’t he? Maybe we should not forget him.

“Best in the world, I’m not too interested in these categories but Mo has a good one. I’m more surprised that he had a header (in his Premier League total) as well. He has a right foot that he scored with too probably.

“I don’t care which part of the body he uses. That’s for him like the other boys. It’s a very good left foot for sure,” Klopp said.
