EPL: Hazard would cost more than £100m, Sarri warns Madrid

Maurizio Sarri, Chelsea manager has warned Real Madrid that Eden Hazard would cost more than the reported £100m they are willing to pay.

Sarri was speaking in the mixed zone at Stamford Bridge, following their 2-0 win over West Ham on Monday.

Hazard scored twice at Stamford Bridge, as the Blues climbed over Arsenal and Tottenham Hotspur into third place.

Asked what he thought of the reported figure of £100m for Hazard, Sarri replied: “Too cheap. In this market, it’s too cheap.

“I have no idea [what he should cost], but we have seen in the last windows every price I think.

“It’s really very hard to change Hazard with another player.”
