Chelsea manager, Antonio Conte, has confirmed that midfielder N’Golo Kante passed out during training last week, ahead of their Premier League trip to Manchester City.
Kante travelled with the rest of the squad, but did not feature in the 1-0 defeat at the Etihad.
Reports emerged this week, that the France international fainted after training on Friday .
Conte has revealed what exactly happened and says Kante is fine after training the whole week.
“On Friday, if you remember, it was very cold. After the training session, he passed out in the dressing room.
“After the situation, the doctors gave him many checks to understand his physical condition but he is all clear. On Sunday, he was well, but at the same time it was right to not take risks”
“N’Golo is fine, he trained the whole week, his is okay,” the Italian said on Friday.
