EPL: Chelsea held by Huddersfield, Leicester defeat Arsenal

[ad_1]

Huddersfield secured their Premier League status for next season, with a 1-1 draw against Chelsea at Stamford Bridge on Wednesday.

Laurent Depoitre opened scoring for the visitors five minutes after the break, before Marcos Alonso equalized for Antonio Conte’s men.

The result all-but relegates Swansea City, who need a 10-goal swing on the final day to turn the tables on Southampton, while Chelsea’s top-four hopes have become slimmer.

Arsenal are still yet to claim a single away point in 2018, after they lost 3-1 to Leicester City.

Manchester City beat Brighton 3-1, while Tottenham Hotspur qualified for next season’s Champions League with a 1-0 win over Newcastle United.
