EPL: Aubameyang speaks on leaving No. 9 position for Lacazette

Arsenal striker, Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang has disclosed that he is happy to play on the left wing if fellow teammate, Alexandre Lacazette is selected by manager Unai Emery, to play as a central striker.

Aubameyang said this following Arsenal’s 2-0 defeat to Manchester City at the weekend in the Premier League.

Goals from Raheem Sterling and Bernardo Silva in either half of the match ensured that City defeated Unai Emery’s men at the Emirates Stadium.

When asked about his relationship with Lacazette, Aubameyang told ESPN: “We really get on well.

“There is a spark between us when we are both on the pitch together.

“We look for each other, we saw it [on Sunday] against City when he came on.

“I don’t mind playing on the left if Laca is in the centre. We both want to do our best for the team.”

Arsenal will face Chelsea in their next EPL match this weekend.
