Manchester United forward, Anthony Martial reportedly lost his temper after a disappointing display against Tottenham in the Premier League and accidentally hit a staff member with a bottle of water.

Martial has struggled to build on his excellent start to the season and failed to make an impact in Manchester United’s 2-0 defeat to Spurs at Wembley.

A source at Old Trafford told The Sun, UK, that the player’s frustration boiled after the match, leading to a fit of rage.

He was said to have sent a water bottle flying, which hit a member of United’s backroom team.

The Frenchman had left the pitch angry after a poor performance and was furious in the Wembley dressing room afterwards.

He was also involved in a bust-up with manager, Jose Mourinho leading to his subsequently bench role in the following league match against Huddersfield.

Manchester United take on Sevilla in the first leg of their round-of-16 Champions League encounter in Spain on Wednesday.
