Ekiti guber: PDP flag bearer emerges

The immediate past chairman of Ado Local Government Area of Ekiti State, Mr. Deji Ogunsakin, has been announced as the running mate to the People’s Democratic Party’s governorship candidate, Prof. Kolapo Olusola.

DAILY POST recalls that Prof Kolapo Olusola, on Tuesday emerged winner of the PDP governorship primary held in Ado-Ekiti, the state capital. He polled 1,191 votes to defeat PDP’s former national spokesman, Prince Dayo Adeyeye, who garnered 770 votes from the primaries.

Deji Ogunsakin was announced as the running mate by Ekiti State Governor, Ayodele Fayose.

Fayose on Twitter wrote, ”Immediate past Chairman of Ado Local Government, Deji Ogunsakin will be the running mate to our Governorship candidate, Prof Kolapo Olusola.”
