Ekiti 2018: Fayose’s aide, Sen. Ojudu‎ in war of words

Senator Babafemi Ojudu, the Special Adviser to President Muhammadu Buhari on Political Matters and Lere Olayinka, the Special Assistant on New Media to Governor Ayodele Fayose of Ekiti State, engaged in a ‘tweet-war’ on Wednesday night.

The war of words started after Fayose’s aide called out Ojudu referring to him as a coupist working with President Muhammadu Buhari against democracy.

Fayose’s aide also alleged that Ojudu and his wife can do anything for money hence he was unfit to be governor

“Scammer @ojudu who claimed that he fought for democracy, but worked for the emergence of @MBuhari, a coupist as president and he working for the same Buhari who truncated democracy in 1983. He can actually do anything for money, including his wife.

“Those close to @ojudu should tell him to go and bury his father properly before seeking to be Ekiti gov.

“Egbon Gani @ojudu, this is 2018, not 2006 when this your antics worked. Those of us who were with you then are now here, so stop ranting and face the uphill task of securing the APC ticket first.” He tweeted.‎

In an epic clapback, the presidential adviser wrote “Maybe you and your boss are pall bearers and looking for job. My father died a Muslim. Buried the day he died and on the eight day the final prayer was held with the chief Imam of Ekiti in attendance.

“So shut your mouth up if you have nothing to say.”

Recall that Fayose and Ojudu engaged in war of words after the former called for the arrest of Ojudu for erecting billboards in Ekiti without the approval of signage agency in the state.
