Dino Melaye cries out, says over 30 armed police officers have taken over his residence

Dino Melaye, Senator representing Kogi West has alleged that over 30 armed policemen have invaded his residence in Maitama, Abuja.

The lawmaker, who is a member of the All Progressives Congress, APC, made the disclosure via his Twitter handle, Monday afternoon.

Melaye wrote: “Over 30 heavily armed fierce looking mobile police men have just stormed My residence in Maitama, Abuja.

“All roads leading to my house have been condoned off, as heavy mobile police men have blocked entry and exit of the road. They currently laid siege on and around the house.”

Recall that the lawmaker, who was previously arrested and detained at the Nanamdi Azikiwe International Airport in Abuja, has since been released.
