The corpse of a man, Hussaini Lawal, whose wife, Amina, and Hajara, her sister, were abducted by bandits in the Janjala community of Kagarko Local Government Area of Kaduna State, has been found in a bush.
The bandits had, on the night of Tuesday, raided three communities, killing three people and abducting 16 others.
A source explained to DAILY POST that the man’s corpse was found following a team that searched for the man near a stream close to a forest in the early hours of Thursday.
According to the source, “The victim had escaped with bullet wounds after bandits invaded his house in Taka-Lafiya village near Janjala and abducted his wife and his sister.”
DSP Mohammed Jalige, the Kaduna PPRO, could not be reached for confirmation when this report was filed.
