Chelsea defeat Southampton, to face Manchester United in FA Cup final

Chelsea have qualified for the final of this year’s FA Cup, following their 2-0 win over Southampton on Sunday.

The Blues’ have endured a miserable title defence and are hoping to win the competition, so they finish the season with one trophy.

The first half at Wembley ended goalless, before Olivier Giroud scored a magnificent solo goal to give Antonio Conte’s men the lead.

Southampton threatened to level the game, before Alvaro Morata climbed off the bench to head in the second.

Chelsea will now take on Manchester United in the final, which will take place May 19.
