Barcelona captain, Andres Iniesta has disclosed that he has an offer to move to China.

The Spaniard admitted his future may lie elsewhere after Barcelona beat Chelsea 3-0 on Wednesday night at Camp Nou to qualify for the last eight of the Champions League on 4-1 aggregates.

The 33-year-old said he will make a decision on his future before the end of April.

“Before April 30 I have to make the decision whether I’m still in Barcelona or I’m going to China. I have to assess what is best for me and for the club,” Iniesta told reporters after the game.

“It is a decision that I will communicate to the club first and then you will find out. I will make a decision before April 30.

“It will be the most honest for me and for the club.”

Iniesta, who signed a ‘lifetime contract’ with the Catalan club in October, came from the youth team at Barcelona. He has made over 400 appearances for the club.

The midfield maestro has won the Champions League four times and La Liga eight times.

Meanwhile, Barcelona coach, Ernesto Valverde said: “It’s a very personal decision, he has to decide.

“I’m not thinking of a Barcelona without Andres Iniesta because right now, we have a Barcelona with Andres Iniesta.”
