Celine Sciamma won the best screenplay award for her film Portrait de la Jeune Fille en Feu, or Portrait of a Young Lady on Fire.
Meanwhile, Ladj Jy won the jury prize for his film Les Miserables, inspired by the Parisian riots of 2005.
