Buhari in Daura on private visit

President Muhammadu Buhari has arrived Katsina enroute Daura his hometown for a private visit.

The presidential jet touched down at the Umaru Musa Yar’adua International Airport at about 4.32 pm.

Buhari was received by the state governor Aminu Masari alongside top government officials, head of security agencies and traditional rulers.

After pleasantries, Buhari was airlifted by a Nigerian Air force helicopter with Reg No NAF 540 to Daura.

While in Daura, Buhari is expected to meet and condole with family members over the death of his two close relations: Aisha Mammam and Halima Dauda who died a week ago.
